Green kernel is - even with food allergies - as extremely well tolerated and seems to have an overall harmonizing effect on the body, especially on the digestive system. In addition, Grünkern should activate the metabolism and have a positive influence on the psyche.
Ingredients for 4 servings
For the patties
- 250 g of green kernel - roughly crushed
- 200 g carrots - finely grated
- 1 onion - finely chopped
Liquid ingredients and spices
- 1 bunch of parsley - finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons vegetable broth (powder)
- crystal salt
- 1 pinch of chili
- Wholemeal bread crumbs if needed
- Coconut oil for baking
Cover the greens with water, add the vegetable stock and bring to a boil. Stir constantly, otherwise it will burn.
When the water has been absorbed, remove the greenskin from the heat and leave to soak for 20 minutes.
Lift the onion, carrots and parsley under the cooled greens.
If the mass is too moist, breadcrumbs must still be added. Mix well and season with salt, pepper and chili.
Make small patties with wet hands and bake crispy on both sides in hot oil.
