The recipe basic chestnut puree has a special health effect: chestnuts contain aescin, which seals the vessels and protects against edema.
Ingredients for 3 servings:
- Peeled 500 g of chestnuts
- 5 tbsp organic cream
- 25 g of organic butter
- salt and pepper
Put the chestnuts in a saucepan, cover with water and bring to a boil. Drain after 45 minutes, pass through a strainer and place in a clean saucepan.
Heat at low temperature again and stir first the cream and then the butter. Season with salt and pepper and keep stirring.
Remove the pot from the heat and serve as a side dish with tofu or other main courses. Fetig!
