It is now known that broccoli contains certain ingredients that have extremely effective anti-cancer properties. But did you know that the effect of broccoli can be enhanced if you consume it in combination with certain foods?
Ingredients for 2 servings
For the broccoli
- 500 g of broccoli
- 100g broccoli sprouts
Liquid ingredients and spices
- 1/8 L vegetable stock (without yeast)
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 3 tablespoons of cream (alternatively oat cream)
- 3 tbsp fresh herbs (tarragon, chives, lemon balm)
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- crystal salt
Wash the broccoli, divide into small florets and slice the stems.
Heat the coconut oil in a saucepan and sauté the stems. Then add the florets and fill up with the vegetable broth.
Cook for about 10 minutes over low heat and season with cream, fresh herbs, salt and nutmeg.
Serve sprinkled with the broccoli sprouts.
