Beetroot soup - creamy

Beets are rich in betaine, a phytochemical that stimulates the function of liver cells, strengthens the gallbladder and helps keep the bile ducts healthy and clear.

Ingredients for 3 lotions

For the soup

  • 750 g beetroot - diced
  • 2 onions - chopped
  • 1 tbsp organic alsan (high-quality margarine)

Liquid ingredients and spices

  • 500 ml vegetable stock (without yeast)
  • 150 ml oat cream
  • 1/2 bunch dill - chopped
  • 1 laurel leaf
  • 1 pinch of crystal salt
  • 1 pinch of pepper
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon


Preparation time approx. 35 minutes

Fry the onions and the beetroot cubes in the margarine for 5 minutes. Add vegetable broth. Add bay leaf, lemon juice, crystal salt and pepper.

Simmer lightly on a low heat for 20 minutes. Remove the bay leaf and puree the soup with the hand blender. Stir in cream and dill and serve.
