Basic potato spread

Potatoes are rich in potassium. Potassium strengthens the cells, muscles and helps to lower blood pressure. Potatoes are a very good source of high quality carbohydrates.


For the spread

  • 400 g of potatoes
  • 100 g onions
  • 50 g of butter
  • 1 clove of garlic

Liquid ingredients and spices

  • 100 g cream (for vegan oat cream)
  • 2 tablespoons chives, cut
  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 tablespoon of basil
  • 1 pinch of marjoram
  • 1 pinch of pepper
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg


Preparation time approx. 35 minutes

Cook the potatoes in the pan, peel hot and grate finely. Finely chop onions and garlic clove and fry in butter until translucent. Add chilled onions, cream and herbs to the potato mixture. Season with marjoram, pepper and nutmeg and let cool.
